HOW CAN YOU JUMP HIGHER? -- It's simple!
TIP #1: JUMP MORE!!
What does that mean? It means you must practice jumping if you want to improve, just as you would practice your jumpshot or any other skill.
I believe that CONDITIONING is vital in any sport. It doesn't really matter how high you can jump if your legs are tired & feel like noodles in the 4th quarter. So spend more time jumping & working on your leg strength & stamina.
Jumping higher can give you that extra edge over your opponent while going up for a BIG DUNK or a crucial offensive rebound. It also helps with rebounding & blocking shots, which can lead your team to a great defensive win!
In Middle School & High School, before I knew exactly what exercises to do, my teammates & I just spent HOURS & HOURS in the gym jumping. Our only goal was to eventually dunk, so we practiced dunking even before we could tough the net or rim. Jumping on & over boxes, lots of jump-rope & MORE! Now that I know a lot of the secrets to jumping higher, I can increase my vertical jump & leg strength whenever I want. You will be able to do the same!!
